June 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of Trinity on Laurens, Aiken’s nonprofit, faith-based senior community located on Laurens Street in downtown Aiken. Twenty years, operated by the same organization, Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, in the same location with many of the original staff still employed, would be considered a major achievement in any business; in health care, and especially long-term care, it is particularly noteworthy.
